We make this pledge as proud peoples of a nation that is rich in its culture, tradition, social fabric, natural resources, natural beauty and fertile land. A nation who have produced great people in every century from Nund Reshi to Gani Kashmiri to Dr Sir Mohammad Iqbal.to Shaheed Maqbool Bhat We make this pledge as proud peoples of a nation that has never in its history discriminated people in our society on the basis of religion, cast and color. We have protected this culture in spite of numerous attempts by our occupiers to erase it by coercion. We make this pledge as proud peoples of a nation who withstood and never gave in to the might of our oppressors; we stood and will stand steadfast in our resolve and determination to achieve freedom, dignity, peace with justice for our men and women. We make this pledge as proud peoples of a nation that with the grace of God and our own resolve and struggle we shall not fail in our moral responsibilities that, we as a generation, owe to our future generation which is unborn. Let no historian of present era be given an opportunity to write the names of likes, such as Sadiq from Bengal and Zaffer from Deccan. Let our politicians not exploit our country for the sole benefit of themselves, if they do they are the parasite living on the flesh of others. Let them devote themselves as faithfull servants of our country. Let our religious leaders work for inculcating the virtue , that lies in each individual of the society to make firm foundation for the progress of the nation on the basis of universal values of Islam Let our journalist be like a guide to our nation , convinced of the truth that he or she writes. Let our writers and poets write of those thoughts that shall build a usefull tomorrow and demolish what is dangerous to our society. Amongst you who are full of youth , depends our tomorrow and the children of tomorrow shall spring from you, hold your head high in pride but not in proud, let humility reflect from your gestures and in conversation. If you do that, you shall be followed and you will stand out in the crowd. Basis of JKLF Policy.
